101 Reason Why Vote for Women
Thirteen organizations in 36 cities and towns and 105 rural areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the assistance of the Swiss Cooperation Office and the Heinrich Boll Foundation, implements the “101 Reasons Why Vote for Women” campaign. The campaign, aiming to present the BiH public with advantages of involvement of women in national political life and the negative consequences of their exclusion from decision-making processes, started in April, and will last until the end of October 2010. The “I am a Roma Woman” regional campaign is presented today, Thursday, April 8, 2010, at the House of Human Rights in Sarajevo, on the occasion of the International Day of the Roma. Sumka Bučan, Director of CARE International NWB Sarajevo, Indira Bajramović, President of Roma Association „Bolja Budućnost“ (Better Future) from Tuzla, Nedžad Jusić, President of Roma Association Eurorom from Tuzla, and Jadranka Miličević, Project Coordinator with CARE International NWB, will talk about the project.
