Environmental organizations from Montenegro and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) warn that the plan to build four power dams on the Morača river needs changing, since it doesn’t provide precise answers to a variety of environmental protection related questions. “RazGlasaj 2010!” is a campaign that aims to animate the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina all over the world to use their fundamental civil right and cast their votes in the October 2010 elections.
The participants in the campaign believe that the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina has reached an alarming state and that changes are needed, both to ensure country’s stability and strengthen its democratic development.
In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the campaign will be implemented in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany, and invitation has been extended to the BiH nationals all over the world to join in.

The First Children Embassy in the World Međaši launched the “We Should Not Keep Violence Unreported” campaign, which aims to inform the public about the problem of exposure of children in Macedonia to violence. Main goal of this campaign is to inform the public about the problem of violence that children are exposed to in Macedonia. We need to talk about violence and child abuse. The consequences are very serious. Fear, insecurity, low self-confidence, mistrust of institutional protection and the uninformed assistance and support services are the most common reasons for children to keep their silence, suffer and rarely report violence

Tomorrow, February 17, at 12:00 hours, the Alternative Student Parliament (ASP) organizes big student protest “No Student without the promised Traffic Pass” in front of the Earth Museum in Sarajevo.
Main reason for this gathering is the unfulfilled promise given by the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton. Last year, Prime Minister promised to install free of charge or cheap public transportation tickets for students, startign from January 1st 2010. Read more…
