Students protest in front of the Earth Museum in Sarajevo!

881300Tomorrow, February 17, at 12:00 hours, the Alternative Student Parliament (ASP) organizes big student protest “No Student without the promised Traffic Pass” in front of the Earth Museum in Sarajevo.
Main reason for this gathering is the unfulfilled promise given by the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton. Last year, Prime Minister promised to install free of charge or cheap public transportation tickets for students, startign from January 1st 2010.
ASP stated that “Prime Minister did not fulfill the promise. This is only a drop in thee sea, but also a drop that filled the glass. For years, students are listening promises, form better accommodation, higher educational standards, various privileges for students…But they are lying to us all the time. Finally, student are woken up and we are sure that we are going to be bearers of the positive changes in this society. Tomorrow is the beginning and all of those who do not show up in front of the Museum are working against themselves, against their colleagues, parents, children
Protest is starting at 12:00 hours in front of the Earth Museum. Prime Minister Mehmedic is also invited to the gathering
