Medjaši: Did you talk to your child today?
The First Children`s Embassy in the World Medjaši implements the third campaign for more responsible parenting and greater attention and love for the children, with the motto DID YOU TALK TO YOUR CHILD TODAY?
Međaši prepared six different visual solutions to be posted on billboards all over the country, presenting different family situations: parents who are to busy to talk to their children and parents who are attentive to their children and talks to them about their activities and preoccupations.
The data collected from the toll-free SOS phone for children and youth 0800 12222 show that children feel increasingly lonely and alienated and that parents have less and less time and attention to dedicate to them.
The message is that children need more time and more attention. Parents need to talk to them, ask them how they feel, how was school, about their friends, needs and interests.
The campaign is a continuation of previous campaigns “Did you hug your kid today” and „Did you tell your kid how much you love him or her?” implemented in 2007 and 2008, respectively.
The campaign is implemented in cooperation with Akcent Media company that provided 60 locations for billboards all over Macedonia. The illustrations were made by Smile Cvetanovski.
