“A Real Man Never Hits a Woman” is the slogan of the nationwide campaign “Together against Domestic Violence” that was launched in Skopje. The agencies of the United Nations (UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNIFEM and WHO) together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MLSP) and the Ambassador of the Netherlands marked the start of the nationwide media campaign for the prevention of domestic violence with a press conference and official promotion. The campaign is part of the three-year programme of the UN and MLSP entitled “Strengthening National Capacities to Prevent Domestic Violence 2008-2011”. Read more…
